Why: Hacking

This guy can totally ruin the gameplay on a Obs server because he can see the Obs all the way across a map.

His gameplay shows him to be one of the most blatant hackers that I've seen in quite awhile.

We sent a screenshot of him hacking to PbBans and he now has been added to their Master Ban List for use of a ModelHack.  He's probably banned from his own clan's server as they stream to PbBans also.

I think he is a perfect  candidate for your Melon Ban.

He used to visit the Australian OC1 server and do the exact same thing. 
Anyone could do that... if they saw the obscurity as a orange glow.

Snake might stumble upon this at work..or perhaps later tonight.

Correct I did stumble on it at work in my lunch break, but I think I am missing something...The image I am seeing is of Bloc, concrete barriers, bush, bit of indoors with a fire barrel making orange top right...
If anyone can explain it to me it would be very much appreciated.

As for his gameplay, yes he is good, but it does not necessarily mean he is cheating. I know plenty of good snipers. LaZzy included :P

I will leave this up for discussion for now because I am fail at detecting anything other than wallhax :P and I am sure Kenai will be here to discuss/defend as he is still active on Obscurity servers.

I brightened the image up in photoshop and I'm going to stick with what I believe for now. I'll try check out the spot I think the image was taken, but to me it is the firey indoor part on bloc that is creating the orange glow. Currenly I am not convinced he is hacking from this image and I believe that if Kenai contests it on pbbans it would get removed.

I think that you guys may have jumped the gun on this one. Anyway it is open for discussion and I wouldnt mind hearing a few more opinions from you all.

Ah, the fire barrels...They are positioned relatively close to where it happened as well. 
I don't understand why it was considered a 'model hack', and also pb banned if their wasn't anything wrong? 

Yeah, I'm waiting for Kenai's story and perhaps a little more info on the screenshot.

My guess is that PBBANs just click them through and let people appeal them to remove them. They would not be experts in the games they monitor IMO and with a little description of the image you submit and no knowledge about the map/mod, they would probably be swayed to accept it.

The actual PBSS validated and was fine. It was manually subtmitted, possibly with a backstory from the ESC guys, and thus they concluded it was a model hack.

Pbbans is stupid. They even did not accepted a screenshot on which was boxes visible from our server. Anyway is there any possibility to replace a moddel to get this effect on Obscuritymod ? If yes it would be required to add pb-filewhitelist checks in the moddirectory as well adding file-md5 checks for the mod files.

Because of this screenshot, I think we need one more example which shows the same to be very sure. This one isn't sufficient enought to show anything.

Yeah I'm not convinced from that screenshot, I've seen very similar distortion in *my own* and other legitimate player's PBSS. I'll have to talk to snake, but as far as I'm concerned that doesn't warrant a melon ban.

Thanks for providing more evidence in support of Kenai. Luckily he managed to get the pbban reversed with minimal effort. Continue killing the obs!

Nono Snake. I used a program called Uac3  because I was apparently getting Black PBss when he was taking them on his server,He banned me. So I used that,Played on RTX and then WeeD's server to get those so I can prove I wasn't hacking xP  (But it can be useful if something DID come up.)

Fair enough. I just saw the tick of approval saying the SS were clean, so assumed it was in support of you.
