I realise this idea has proably been thought of before, and most likely impossible to implement.
My idea is a modified version of the red dot sight, which within the boundries of the obs is more visible, maybe with a coloured tint, but not too visible. The disadvantage to this would be that there would be no red dot to aim, and that either would be that it is a perk, or that you move slower when using it (either forcibly, or maybe if you move it becomes less effective)
Like I said this is probably unoriginal, not able to be implemented (as would be the theme of all my ideas) but wanted to make sure the idea was out there.

Ok, I'm not 100% sure I understand, but you want like a sight that changes tint when you have an obscurity in its FOV?
If that is so, I don't think it has been thought of, but I don't think it's something we want. I know I wouldn't want a treasure hunt sight, that gives you a cue to open fire. I could be wrong with my understanding of your idea, so let me know if that is so.
I don't mean to shut down everyones ideas, there is just a specific theme and approach we wish to take with the mod, and a lot of the ideas that we reject are the ones that make it easier to find/kill/see an obscurity. We have implemented avenues to try get people to work together more, and I know that is not always the case, but it is a lot more difficult for an obs to attack a group of guys then a single guy.
I truely think, and am pretty sure Falcar would agree with me, that there are plenty of avenues for a marine to take down an obscurity. With a small amount of practice you will see that it isn't too hard and that you are getting kills fairly often without the aid of special perks. A pistol and knife is usually all it takes.
You do occasionally come across an obscurity who is extremely difficult to kill, but I think that is when the game is at its peak.
Thanks for the suggestion anyhow
PS: It is also likely to fall into the not-able-to-implement category also.
