"Hit the Ground Running"
Just wondering if you can make a perk that disables the slow ass movement after landing from a long fall or a jump. When I jump sometimes I wanna start moving again right away but the thing slows me down to zero and then lets me start moving faster slowly over the course of like 4.5 seconds. Don't know if it's modifiable. ^.^

Nope its a server dvar affecting all players.. plus to disable it would also mean constant jump-spamming without penalty.

lol. Just a thought xD And let this thread just be the dumping ground for all the perk ideas. I looked for one that was already made but I probably missed it xD
And since you didn't like my last one =P
Perk kinda like the others that have been talked about. Placing walls. Except instead of placing a piece of sheet metal, or some sort of reinforcement, it would be placing a fine chicken wire piece of mesh on the groun standing up. So like 3 6X4' sheets that would stand up. Idk, just trying to throw ideas around. maybe it'll spark something else =P

with the obs ability to phase i don't see how that perk will do anything but allow people to trap their team mates.....
so i'm all for it :P

Then make it a no clip prefab. Solves the trapping, and gives the advantage of increased obs visibility.
Or make it clip and have some really funny moments xD

kk, any way to tweak the LMG class so that the turn speed is slowed... lotsa people using lmgs and just turning 360 and firing and getting kills cause double tap xD

wasn't that already done? they turn slower and move slower anyway?
and no matter how slow (within reason :P) you make them turn you only need to have either higher sensitivity on or just fling your mouse accross the desk to do a 360 or any other manuver so i don't see how that would help really....
what i would like to see though is a perk for the obs.... but i think falc already rejected me on that one :(

Perks for obs have been rejected, yes.
We originally were going to go the perk/class path for obs, but decided we would rather the obs players get all the skills from the get go. it works best this way due to the constant team switching. You don't want to have to choose your class every time you switch to obs team. I just want to get out there, toy and hack some people then get back to marines and kill those freaks.
