i was wondering if you guys could make a wake island map like on bf2. it would be pretty mad it you could add vechiles as well.
just a thought to see if its possible

Possible, not going to happen. Search Google, maybe somebody has already tried. We will never be adding vehicles to Obscurity v2. If there are vehicles in MW2 that work nicely, perhaps.

Wake island would be a bitch and a half. BF2 had larger maps in general because of the vehicles. You can't make massive maps in COD4 because you spend half the map respawning/finding people and half the map dieing. I'm in the process of making an Obscurity based map just for the mod. Named dutifully after my title of OBSessed. ^.^ The map features lots of high places for obscurities to go, buildings and scaffolding, and an underground safe house for the marines. Should be a blast once it's finished. Quick question while I'm here, when I try to test the map with a mod on it says I'm missing files. Do you Snakelet/Falcar have any experience with getting new maps to work with a mod? If so lemme know =)

look for missingassets.csv in the mod folder of whatever you're testing it on, and then add everything in the list to your map's csv file.
