Well i dont know if the mods developed far enough, but there are quite some good maps outthere, and i dont know if its easy to add support for them. (day and night support etc)
mp_iclaim <small map and really fun to play cause there are alot of close quaters for the marines to tuck in.>
mp_kamakura <set in old japan, pretty large map with a large underground network.>
mp_mmb_forest <a pretty large forest, we have played it and its just awesome to do>
mp_stalingrad_beta2 <set in the city stalingrad its sometimes pretty awesome to do with more then 10 people>
and also if there are other people with custom maps wich they can add maby put it here? :O
since with custom map support the mod would be able to grow insanly large.

It's not about the mod, mod can be played on any map, but for gametypes like HQ, ARM, etc that need places for intel/hq, the map needs to have them set in.

I mean. the custom maps we played never went from day to night. pretty odd cause we tested about 20

The custom maps don't have the different times of the cycle built in then (as with almost all custom maps due to the fact that they don't have to sell their product)

All the day night cycles for the stock maps were customly created, per map. You will notice that there are various sunsets, midnight, midday and sunrise settings for each map. This feature is not built into COD4. We can add cycles for custom maps by request, but that is about the best we can offer.

like i trought already.
well i dont know if its a hard process if its not i maby could help. i mean
i got the mod tools and stuff but never really used them, all i can do is create a map floor and put grass on it and curve it :p

If you have a map that you think would be great with obs, post a download link and a request for a day night cycle . I believe one of the maps you have listed above will have a day/night cycle next release.

You must add the custom maps to the downloads section when they're compatible with the mod :D

We will compile a list of the compatible maps, with links, but not sure my stingy bandwidth can cater to custom map hosting too.
