Was playing last night and only just found out that in Last Stand you can medic yourself back to health. This means that players are unkillable if they jump off a roof, and even though it is possible to kill the person (which im sure of coz I targeted the cheeky bastard who had it) makes it a lot more difficult, especially if there is more than one marine around at the time.

Any chance of cancelling that out somehow?

This has been in for ages and works as planned lol.

Marines with the medic perk can self heal when gutted or in last stand ONE TIME ONLY, by holding the use key. They then lose that perk for the rest of the round.

If there is a lame obs trying to swap drop people, it is highly recommended you take last stand and medic.

The swap firemode function will change next update to address the whole swap drop/trap issues occuring.

The only way you can jump off a building only to revive yourself is if you are carrying both the last stand perk and the medic perk. No last stand, no second chance after falling off a building >.<  And by choosing last stand you are sacrificing other more useful perks. I don't think it needs to be negated at all. Also swap killing via high places has been discouraged by Falcar taking out point gain via swap killing. Now I also understand that you sometimes swap people up high just to get them away from everyone else and keep them distant, but there are problems with doing that.

1. If they are like me, they've played single player by starting their own game and playing obs and exploring every level in depth, therefore, they can probably get down without the aid of last stand anyway.

2. If it is a level that is prone to swap killing then they are going to use last stand anyway to cancle that out, I know both Falcar and myself do that on those particular levels.

3. They'll be using a sniper if you're unlucky like me, and they'll pop you off while you try to wreck the other marines. Which will be kinda funny when it happens and you think to yourself "awwww... damnit.."

So all in all I think it's a valid combination in order to give you another couple minutes, but if the OBS is aware of what they're doing they should be watching for that and knife em before they can get up.
