Hello,
Since i joined my own obscurity i can't double switch anymore in any server.
I get it thats disabled in the obscurity mod but i dont get why it doenst work anymore in every other server.
A lot of other people that have been in my obscurity server are having the same problem.
I hope you guys can help.

by double switch i assume you mean double change weap commands. the easist way to get around this is to simply copy your profile, and make one for obs, another for w/e other cod4 you play, since obs does a few things like this which people enjoy whinging about. otherwise, you can manually change settings, but would have to do it everytime you switch from obs to another mod.

Yep. Make a profile for obscurity and one for vanilla COD. We try to fix/remove/nerf any bugs/glitches/abuses that the core game has when we make our mod, and this is one of them.
To fix it you will want to do the following: cg_weaponcycledelay 0. It is set to 500 for obscurity to stop machine shotguns and stupid reload glitches.

Or any other random letter, and just hit it when you're in another server. Don't press it when you're in obs though, otherwise your screen will turn black xD

cg_weaponcycledelay 0 worked for me.
I already noticed that that bind turns your screen black, i have a bind to switch my weapon twice witch is realy nice for noscopeing and the reload bug.
Isn't it posible to make something in the mod that sets al client dvars back to normal if you leave the server?

Just make a different profile for obscurity. Will mean all your custom controls for it stay, and all your vanilla COD settings stay.
There is no way to change controls/setting if you leave the server. What if it crashes, or you type /quit or /disconnect etc? Too many ways to exit a game, which is why profiles were invented for games, to customise and save your settings.

Nope - cod is pretty fail, I can't edit anything like that (that I know of). Most of what I work with is server-side, and the server only knows you're leaving when you've already disconnected lol.

Why does the mod even change the switch dvar?
Compliments for the mod. People realy like it im running it now for three days and there are 20 people in it already. Great work!

The mod forces the delay to prevent people glitching the reloading/whatever else they can do with no delay.

But is it that bad that people can do that trick since they can do it in almost every mod/server. Its even posible in promod

People were using it to mostly:
1. Cancel reloads with no time penalty (unlike sprinting out of it), allowing them to instantly shoot from reloading.
2. Bind shotguns to shoot incredibly fast, unloading eight or so shells in under a second etc.
Just because people can do it everywhere doesn't make it right xD It's a glitch in the game, and as far as I'm concerned we've fixed it. It's not our fault that people are accustomed to abusing it.

Also, just because a mod has the word 'pro' in it, it does not mean it is pro. You want a hardcore mod that is pro, try HitLoc. (Locational Damage Guide)

I know the word pro doenst make it a "pro" mod, I was just suprised why you guys take it out of the game in your mod while you dont see it in any other mod. But i get it that if you can reload and shoot that fast in obscurity it would have a big advantage.

It was moreso just a plug for a good mod that nobody plays 
Weapon swap speed is a glitch in the core game. Even though other mods choose not to fix a glitch, that does not mean a glitch does not exist. Players should rely on skill to win matches not abuse glitches. Even if it was possible to reset on leave, I doubt we would bother doing that for this sole reason.
