I need an unban to. Falcar said that i was getting past my pbss and i had no idea what he meant. I still don't. My dad is an admin and i asked him what pbss was and he said he didn't know either. im gonn amake this clear I DO NOT HACK/CHEAT. I was VERY upset when falcar banned me from snakelet obscutiy. I had no idea what happened. PLZ if anyone can help me fix this pbss thing plz add me to xfire->johnnybdaman. I hate dirty little cheaters.

I just want to have fun and show the devs my skill at obscurity without being acused of cheating. Falcar those lagg sniper shots i had on crossfire when u banned me i will admit those are some of the luckiest shots i have ever seen in my life. I am sorry for the lagg i had on your australlian server seeing as how im from the U.S. I don't know what else to say other that the fact that i am upset that someone could even think i was cheating. Makes me sick at the thought.

Rex you weren't meant to be banned, just snakelet fails at console commands. It should only be temporary and you should be able to get on tonight.
Johnny all 3 of your (or your friend's) cd keys are banned, deal with it, stop spamming the forums you scum. PBSS -> Punk Buster Screen Shot -> takes an image of what your computer is rendering and sends it to the server. You killed the obscurity with a sniper rifle 3 rounds in a row immediately after joining, with 300 ping, so I took a picture of yours. I was surprised to see an image of a BMW, an obvious cover image as I have seen on other cheating scum. After banning you, a few minutes later another person with 300 ping comes on so I took a screenshot of them too. Lo and behold, another cover image, this time a man in armour. It was at this point that I mentioned the pbss, so clearly this was you as well, as the first time I kicked you I only said "nice bmw. cheating scum". Later you joined with another cd key, clearly having noticed that I was catching you via the pbss, you loaded a black image into your scum program, as that's all I got on that player. If it were not already suspicious enough, it was only after Snakelet kicked this player that you started bitching and moaning on the forums, and this is some 2 hours later.
You will not be unbanned, nor will your friend's cd keys. They are all cheats.
Ps. It's not just on "snaklets" Obscurity v2, as of the next update it's in every Obscurity server as a melon ban.

First off Falcar that bmw is my dads background for his comp it's not a cover up. FYI i dodn't get bak on your server again. it was someone else. I don't care anymore because i started gettin iw3mp.exe errors. i am no cheating scum. I hate cheaters and my dad says hat if he ever caught me cheating that would b the end of my gaming life. I don't want my gaming life to end. And i know that this is hard to believe but have you ever thought that maybe im just that good. That maybe im just better than you? FYI i only shot twice with sniper. Those were lagg shots nothing more. I did get on later that day but not on your server and CERTANLY not with another cd key. I don't have another cd key i only have one and that came with the copy of the game i bought at gamestop. Anyways i hate it when people call me a hacker just because im good. People need to learn how to suck it up and deal with it. Falcar i only one more thing to say to you. You made me angry when you banned me and then called me a cheater. You probably don't care that im mad. Whatever. I loved the obscurity mod and would never think of doing anything to destroy it. So good day and good bye.

oh and falcar it is to my knowledge that your supposed to warn the supposed hacker before you dish out the ban hammer. you gave me no warnings at all. My punkbuster has been messing up too. Something about punkbuster handshaking failure. My dad looked at my pbss on americas army 3 and they were bad to. We reinstalled punkbuster and defraged computer and went bak on aas the next day and my ss were fine. Please reconsider. If there was a way to send you ALL my files on my dads computer(which i play on) i would gladly send you ever single file and show you that I HAVE NO HACKS. I am sorry for the spamming in the flood and the forums. It's just that i was outraged at the fact that someone would even let the thought slip their mind that i was hacking. Please Falcar out of the kindness of your heart don't melon bann me. If by any slim chance you decide to not melon bann me i will NOT dissapoint you. If we ever meet on cod4 in the future and something is wrong with my pb plz tell me so that i can ask my dad whats going on and how to fix it. Please im begging you. That 2 hours that i started complaining here was only because that was when me and my dad were testing the pbss on aa3. and reinstalling pb. So once again i am truley sry for all the trouble i must have caused.

btw falc u mentioned the pbss when u banned me the firsti time. i saw in the textbox it said some tin like !b johnny(sometin like that?) blocking pbss u dirty little cheater. so... u did mention it when you banned me.

I'm not going to "warn" a hacker, saying "oh please turn off those hacks, they are slightly annoying". You install cheats, you're going, permanently, regardless of how many lies you can spew onto the forums.

Ok Falc. im sorry. I am sorry for all the spam and trouble i've caused i will not be spamming anymore. I don't hack, but you are entitiled to your opinion, wiether it be wrong or not. I guess im gonna go and try to have as much funn as possible on eas untill the melon ban comes through. Falc if you want me to, i can meet you on that server and show you i don't hack. Knowing what you've said to me that last couple of days your probably goin to just get on there and talk to the admins about banning me. I'm begging you please don't melon ban me. I've played this mod since it came out and fell in love with it. I just wish i could continue playing my favorite mod...

I have researched this and there is a known issue with PB taking screenshots of user desktops, even if it the program is running in full screen. Your behaviour was suspicious, but it is my opinion that you should not be melon banned, as the evidence of your suspicious behaviour can be explained by a common bug with PBSS. I have explained and stressed this to Falcar a lot over the past week or so, but so far he isn't budging.
It will be up to him whether or not the melon ban is to go ahead, but I believe the PBSS evidence so far is not sufficient.

Yes, and killing the obscurity with a r700 sniper rifle three rounds in a row immediately after joining, all the while with 300 ping is also a "known punkbuster issue" I'm sure. And three different cd keys all in a row in the same night, all with 300 ping, all with this same "bug", not at all suspicious. I don't believe there is any "desktop background bug" with punkbuster at all, I've only ever seen it ONCE before and that was a known cheat with a pbbans record.

As I said, his behaviour was suspicious, but based on the pb evidence alone I wouldnt ban him. The fact that they lagged may have been the reason you got desktop images. I have left it up to you, but I dont think the pbss should be a determining factor.

Thank you snake. Falcar if by any chance possible there is no melon ban and possibly an un-ban for snakelet's obs v2 i won't let you down. If i get on EAS or XI and an admin is on I will ask them if my screenshots are ok. If not I will seek the nearest help possible because this is a problem i do not want to deal with.

just visited the forum after a long time and saw this thread
just popping in to say that, when my clan was playing cod4 wars, 1-2years ago, we had our server and of course i checked some PB screenshots.. some peoples screenshots are just black, if i remember right it was some bug with PB and windows vista or something.. but anyway, i never saw anyones desktop..
and what i think of playing with johnnyboy in EAS server several times, i never thought he hacks. he can play allright, and is a good and nice opponent in my opinion

thank you juu. I certainly am glad that someone thinks i am not hacking. It's just i love that mod so much and it pains me to see a melon ban every time i try to join a server. I miss playing with the guys on the eas and xi server. I certainly miss playing with juu...he gave me the challange i craved lol. I really do hope i get the chance to play with you again juu! But as Falcar seems to not be budging in this issue, I highly doubt that this will happen. No matter how much I try.
